Career Services (CS)

Career Services is designed to aid students in obtaining part-time employment while continuing with gaining a degree, or with locating full-time employment opportunities tailored to meet your career choice. This program is available through the Office of Student Affairs and assists students with:

• Effective communication skills for interviewing
  • Getting the Interview ( 712K download)
• Writing a professional resumé
• Using local resources
• And our officeprovides tools to assist you with clear career choices.

Mission Statement

The mission of Career Services is to provide assistance to students in obtaining employment commensurate with their qualifications by making employment opportunities available. Our office strives to provide a full range of services for our students and employers.

JobZone

Through JobZone employers can list position openings, browse through the resumé books, recruit students from 23 local Ivy Tech Campuses, and can reach a potential 45,000 active Ivy Tech Alumni.

Ivy Tech students and alumni can look for career options after a simple registration process, post a current resume, and apply for jobs.
