Ivy Tech Community College Podcasts

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana - Richmond, has launched a new and exciting service to release "podcasts" to allow internet visitors to learn more about college offerings, student life, tutorials for using our online services, and much more. Podcasts will be released as often as possible and can be heard by clicking anywhere you see the podcast icon.

New to podcasts? Wikipedia has a great page that explains the purpose, history and technology behind this new trend in media delivery.

Where to begin?

There are a number of ways for users to tune in and enjoy our podcasts:

1. Download the podcast episode directly as an mp3 file, allowing you to listen to a broadcast on your favorite audio program (such as Winamp or Windows Media Player) or download an audio mp3 file directly to your digital mp3 player.
   
2. Automate the process by using programs (such as Juice) that will automatically tell you when a new podcast is available for download.
   
3. Subscribe through Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox 2.0. By clicking on the iTunes links in the sections below, the web browser will pop up a window listing all of the episodes. From there, you can subscribe to the podcast or play the files immediately.
   
4. Subscribe through iTunes. Just can copy the iTunes link and past it into a new subscription. Once the podcast is in iTunes, you will automatically receive new podcasts as they become available.
   
5. Watch now as an interactive, streaming movie via Adobe Flash Player.
